(November 20, 2023) \u2013 Neel-Schaffer is excited to announce that Leah Selcer, PE, has been promoted to the role of Louisiana Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&amp;H) Lead. Selcer\u2019s promotion aligns with leadership expansion in regional and state H&amp;H operations as part of the firm\u2019s five-year Strategic Growth Plan.<\/p>\n<p>Leah&#8217;s addition in 2020 strengthened the firm\u2019s H&amp;H and Coastal Engineering services. In her new role, she will oversee H&amp;H and Drainage Design in Louisiana, working closely with Glenn Ledet, PE, Water Resources Market Sector Lead, Mike Phillips, PE, CFM, H&amp;H Discipline Lead, Nick J. Ferlito, PE, PTOE, Senior Vice President\/Engineer Manager for the Baton Rouge office, and the Louisiana leadership team to expand the state&#8217;s H&amp;H services.<\/p>\n<p>With nearly 10 years of experience, Leah brings a wealth of expertise to her new role, specializing in H&amp;H and Coastal Engineering services. She currently provides support on a variety of water resources projects, including project management services for two pivotal projects for our H&amp;H team: the CS-87: Calcasieu-Sabine Large-Scale Marsh &amp; Hydrologic Restoration project and the Jimmie Davis Bridge design-build project for the Louisiana Department of Transportation &amp; Development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeah&#8217;s promotion reflects her exceptional skill in managing complex initiatives and driving innovation,\u201d said Ledet. \u201cHer commitment to her field is clear, and her leadership is vital as we seek to elevate our water resources and H&amp;H work to new levels.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Said Leah: \u201cI\u2019m extremely grateful for the opportunity to step into this new role and contribute to the continued growth of the Louisiana H&amp;H group.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Leah is a Registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BATON ROUGE, La.
