\"\"ARLINGTON, Texas (December 29, 2021) \u2013 Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Chris Hocate, PE, has joined the firm and will serve as the Transportation Practice Leader for North Texas.<\/p>\n

Hocate will be based in the firm\u2019s Dallas office and also serve as Engineer Manager for that office. He has more than 25 years of experience in completing numerous projects in all aspects of transportation engineering, from project inception to completion. His vast experience includes Schematic\/Environmental and PS&E projects for counties, municipalities, and for the Texas Department of Transportation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very excited to welcome Chris as our North Texas Transportation Practice Leader,\u201d said Derek Cheatham, Senior Vice President for Neel-Schaffer\u2019s North Texas Operations. \u201cChris will be a key leader for our North Texas team and will also be supporting our statewide transportation leader in delivering our Texas Strategic Plan initiatives. \u00a0What a great way to start 2022.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hocate is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, with TxDOT Precertification in 18 categories. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.<\/p>\n
